Sealed Verdict is run by Symposia Co Pty Ltd (ABN 19 699 627 702), based in Queensland, Australia. This page explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

What we collect

You don't need an account to use Sealed Verdict, and we don't ask for payment details. We collect information about how the site is used:

  • Site analytics (PostHog). Pages you view, how you got here (for example, a search engine or a link), your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. PostHog stores an identifier in your browser so it can tell repeat visits from new ones. We don't record your sessions.
  • Hosting analytics (Lovable). Our hosting provider records basic visit counts and page requests.
  • Security cookie (Cloudflare). Our hosting runs behind Cloudflare, which may set a short-lived cookie to tell people apart from automated traffic.
  • Feedback. If you use the feedback form, we store the verdict you suggest, any reasoning you write, and your email address if you choose to give it. Email is optional and only used to reply.
  • Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
  • Fonts (Google). The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting and database providers keep standard technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and reliability.

The site also saves some price data in your browser so pages load faster. It isn't information about you.

What we use it for

To understand which pages and products people look at, fix things that are broken, answer your messages, and decide what to build next. We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the providers that run the site.

Who else handles it

These providers process data for us and may store it outside Australia:

  • PostHog (analytics), United States
  • Lovable and Cloudflare (hosting)
  • Supabase (database, including feedback)
  • Google (email inbox and fonts)
  • Brevo (sending email replies)

Your choices

You can block analytics with a tracker blocker, or by clearing and blocking cookies for this site. The site works the same either way. You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete feedback or emails you've sent.
